Summary Day 5
Day 5 of the World Series of Poker Brazil was momentous. The qualifiers to the Main Event came to an end and yet another championship ring has been awarded.
If this is how things are looking now, as we are deep into the second half of the WSOP, you can’t even imagine how it will all turn out after today’s fun with the beginning of the R$ 8,000 High Roller, the two Monster Stack initial flights, and Day 2 of the Main Event, set to start at 1 P.M.

Yesterday saw the culmination of Days 1C and 1D - Turbo of the tournament sponsored by partypoker LIVE and the R$4,000,000 guarantee burst with over 1,450 entries recorded so far. The final figure will be made known today, once stage 2 of the competition begins.
At the same time, the Pot Limit Omaha was played, featuring 160 entries of R$ 2,000 and a 358,100 prize pool. Among the 21 players who took home at least R$ 3,300 was Felipe Brasil, who walked away with the championship ring and R$ 94,000.
