Do you want the good news or the bad news? The good news is that, as of today, partypoker have introduced a software update which will give you, the players, the best possible online poker experience. The bad news? There isn’t any.
The update will bring a superb series of slick improvements to partypoker’s online poker tables and software, and should provide players with a much-improved playing experience.
The cutting-edge update will give players much more control over their online poker experience, from how the poker table looks to how it functions. The feel of the gameplay has also been much improved, as well as the addition of convenient lobby functions such as allowing players to filter MTT’s by their buy-in.
Other enhancements include that players will now be able to register for up to 12 Sit & Go Jackpot games, be able to showdown when play is checked down, and the exciting introduction of Mix Max poker, which will make its debut during the upcoming Powerfest series.
partypoker has also made a number of improvements to the classic ‘Oval’ and ‘Racetrack’ table views, but that’s not all. Players will also be able to customise their own table felt, floor and background designs for specific game types. If you want a black felt Racetrack style table for tournaments, but a green Oval for cash games, then no problem- it’s all up to you!
The fabulous new look of the table will include bigger, clearer hole cards, larger player nicknames, and beefier chip balances. These are all possible thanks to a redesign of the player plate, which has allowed more space for key visual elements to come to the fore in a sleek, modernised design which includes a fancy new digital countdown timer.
On top of that, the ‘Player Notes’ function has also been jazzed up, meaning that you’ll now be able to customise the colour of your notes on each player.
In other improvements, the ‘Bet Slider’ has been fashionably remodeled to allow greater room for bashing in those bigger bet sizes, allowing you to more easily pile on the pressure with that hefty third barrel bluff! The Time Bank has also been cunningly repositioned to a more relevant and easy-to-use location within the bet slider itself.
One cracking new feature of the table animation will be that cards are now fanned out to each player simultaneously, rather than one at a time, which will make a noticeable difference to how players see each fresh new game deal.
The exciting changes that partypoker are making are the second phase of a wave of poker table improvements. These improvements will be backed up by further enhancements in the next few months, as the site looks to develop its software to world-class status. That can only be great news for you, the players!
Head of Product at partypoker, Ross McQuater said: “This latest software update reflects our ongoing drive to improve our core poker product.
“We hope players love the new table designs and enjoy a smoother, more optimised playing experience thanks to various technical improvements.
“Look out for more exciting software enhancements over the coming weeks and months.”
We told you it was good news!
