How much is entry?
Players can buy in direct to Day 1 or 2 of the Main Event for CA$3650+350. You can also play T$ satellites starting from just $2.20.
What exchange rate will I receive if I buy in with a different currency?
Buy-in exchange rates are set per tournament, on the first starting day of the tournament for multi-day tournaments.
Players who buy in via the partypoker software will receive the exchange rate given by the software on that day. The holding tanks will be set in the local currency if this currency is available on the software. Players who have their partypoker account set in the same currency will not be affected by exchange rates.
This does not include cash buy-ins at the venue. Cash exchange rates are set by the venue and are not under the control of partypoker LIVE.
What exchange rate will I receive if my pay-out is made with a different currency?
Payouts made into partypoker accounts will be paid at the exchange rate of the site on that day. Players who have their partypoker account set in the same currency will not be affected by exchange rates.
If I’m eliminated from a Main Event Day 1 can I enter another Main Event Day 1 on the following day?
Yes. You can play as many Day 1s as you wish for the Main Event.
Can I re-enter a Day 1 on the same day if I’m eliminated from the Main Event?
Yes. You can have one re-entry per Day 1 before the end of the late registration period.
What happens if I have multiple stacks going into Day 2 or Day 3?
If a player has already qualified for Day 2 and decides to enter another Day 1, he can do that. If he gets through to Day 2 a second time, only his biggest stack will be put in play and his smaller stack will forfeit.
If a player already qualified for Day 3 from Online Day 1+2 and decides to enter the tournament again (on Day 1 or 2), he can do that. If he progresses to Day 3 a second time, he will receive a 2nd min-cash and his biggest stack will be put in play on Day 3.
How many chips will I receive for buying into Day 1 directly?
Players who buy into Day 1 or Day 2 of the Main Event will receive 40,000 chips.
Can I buy into day 2 directly?
Yes, late registration finishes before the start of Level 5 on Day 2.
How long does WPT Montreal Main Event Day 1 last?
Day one will run until the end of level 8. Day 2 will run until there’s approximately 15% of the field left. Any player who makes day 3 will receive a minimum cash.
Will the overall winner get a trophy?
Yes, the winner will receive an official trophy.
Are deals permitted?
Final Table deals are permitted at the tournament director’s discretion. 10% must be left for the winner.
How is the prize pool paid out?
Those who qualify or buy in online will be paid out to their partypoker account. Players who buy-in with cash at the venue can choose their pay-out method.

Can I use T$ to buy in to this event?
Yes, you can use T$ to buy in to this event. If you do not have enough T$ to buy in in full, you must ensure that there are enough funds in your partypoker account to make up the difference.
How can I win T$?
Players can win T$ every day in T$ satellites on partypoker. They will go into your account immediately.
Can I sell or transfer my T$ to another player?
Players are not able to sell or transfer their T$ to another player.
How long do I have to use my T$?
All T$ have a 12-month expiry.
If I buy into an event with T$ and decide not to play the event, will my buy-in be refunded?
If a player buys in with T$ and does not want to play the event or does not turn up to the event, they can contact support staff for a full refund into their partypoker account. Any promotion will be void and any event bonuses must be paid back before a refund is issued.
What can I use T$ for?
T$ can be used for tournament entry and expenses including travel and accommodation expenses. Players may also use T$ for any tournament on partypoker, this includes satellites and T$ satellites.
How do I pay for my expenses with T$?
To claim back expenses from their T$, players must visit the PP LIVE desk at the event and provide evidence of expenditure.
How do I buy in to this event using T$?
Visit the partypoker lobby and buy into the online Day 1s as usual, your T$ will automatically be used. If you want to play a live Day 1 with your T$, you must buy into the holding tanks on the partypoker client. Live chat customer services and our onsite teams can help you with this.
I qualified via T$, can I choose which Day 1 I want to play?
Yes, T$ are a flexible currency and can be used to buy into any live or online Day 1s.
PP LIVE Dollars
Can I use PP LIVE Dollars to buy in to this event?
Yes, you can use PP LIVE Dollars to buy in to this event and all side events on the schedule.
How can I win PP LIVE Dollars?
Players can no longer win PP LIVE Dollars. However, they can win T$ in the T$ satellites on partypoker. This partypoker currency is more flexible than PP LIVE Dollars and can be used for all live and online tournaments, including satellites. Like PP LIVE Dollars, it can also be used for expenses.
Can I sell or transfer my PP LIVE Dollars to another player?
Players are not able to sell or transfer their PP LIVE Dollars to another player.
If I buy into an event with PP LIVE Dollars and decide not to play the event, will my buy-in be refunded?
