MILLIONS UK - Terms and Conditions

Tournament

  • The event dates, schedule and structure are subject to change.
  • The Tournament Director(s) can make amendments to tournaments at their discretion.
  • 3% of the prize-pool is withheld for staff, marketing and operational costs.
  • Buy in exchange rates are set per tournament, on the first starting day of the tournament for multi day tournaments. This does not include cash buy-ins at the venues.
  • Cash exchange rates are set by the venue and are not under the control of partypoker LIVE.
  • Players who buy in via the partypoker software will receive the exchange rate given by the software on that day. The holding tanks will be set in the local currency if this currency is available on the software. Players who have their partypoker account set in the same currency will not be affected by exchange rates.
  • Payouts made into partypoker accounts will be paid at the exchange rate of the site on that day. Players who have their partypoker account set in the same currency will not be affected by exchange rates.
  • Guaranteed events are paid out afterdeducting the withheld costs of the prize pool.
  • Each day 1 for MILLIONS UK is run as a freeze-out. If you are eliminated day 1A, you are unable to re-enter until day 1B.
  • If you have played day 1A, you can only play day 1B if were eliminated on day 1A.
  • If you have not played day 1A, you are welcome to buy straight into day 1B.
  • If you have qualified via an online or live satellite before day 1A, you must play day 1A.
  • Players can buy directly into day 1A or day 1B and will receive 1,000,000 starting chips regardless of when they buy in.
  • Day two stacks are non-transferable and will be in play from the start of day two.
  • Final Table deals are permitted at the tournament director’s discretion. 10% must be left for the winner.
  • Example pay-outs are based on the guarantee of the tournament. If this is surpassed, the pay-out will be altered accordingly. We also reserve the right to alter the pay-out structure at our discretion.
  • Players who buy-in with cash at the venue can choose their pay-out method.
  • Players who qualify/buy-in online will be paid out to their partypoker account within 10 days of the festival ending.
  • Wire transfers will be completed within 10 days of the festival ending.
  • Players may buy-in in full or in part with PP LIVE Dollars. If a part-payment is made, players must pay the rest of the buy-in from funds in their partypoker account.
  • All participants in partypoker LIVE events must sign the media policy by logging into their partypoker LIVE account (top right of this page) and accepting the media policy. All new accounts will automatically be asked to agree to the media policy. This only needs to be done once and will remain valid for all future partypoker LIVE events.
  • partypoker LIVE will be reporting throughout the tournament and will post live updates on all Online Qualifiers – this also includes PP LIVE Dollar buy ins. If you wish to NOT be featured please email: millions@mypartypokerlive.com
  • If we do not hear from a player we will assume that they are happy to be featured in the live updates as an online qualifier on partypokerlive.com, PokerNews and any other third party media outlets.
  • partypoker LIVE staff reserve the right to set limits and restrictions on pay-out methods from tournaments and are obligated to inform the player accordingly.
  • partypoker LIVE reserves the right to disqualify or ban any person from one or all events if the person acts in a threatening and/or abusive manner to other players or to any member of staff or the public. This includes but is not limited to threats/statements made on social media, via telephone, email or face to face.
  • By taking part in a partypoker LIVE tournament, you also agree to these specific promotional terms and conditions and our standard promotional terms and conditions. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions and rules outlined on this page or linked to from this page may result in penalties and/ or sanction including disqualification from the tournament with no financial recourse.
  • Any activity on partypoker, such as playing satellites to partypoker LIVE events, or partaking in promotions in satellites or other games, will be subject to partypoker general terms and conditions.

Live Satellites

  • Seats won in live satellites must be used for that specific event.
  • If you already have a seat for the event (via live or online satellites) you are unable to play the future satellites for this event unless you have played Day1A and been eliminated.
  • Seats are non-transferable to other players.
  • If you win a live satellite before day 1A, you must play day 1A and cannot use this seat for day 1B.
  • There are no refunds or cash alternatives available if a player is unable to play the event.
  • Seats may not be sold or transferred to other players
  • Any unused seats at the end of the event will be forfeited.

Online Satellites

  • Specific online satellites will be available for this event, players who win a seat must be available to play day 1A.
  • Packages are to be confirmed shortly.
  • All players who have qualified via an online satellite before day 1A must use their seat in day 1A.
  • There are no refunds or cash alternatives available if a player is unable to play the event.
  • As MILLIONS UK is a freezeout on each day 1, unless a player is eliminated on day 1A, they are unable to enter more than once. Therefore, players cannot win another package for this event as they would be required to forfeit it. Players must therefore ensure that they do not play any more satellites for this event. This includes satellites at the live venue.
  • Any packages won in online or live satellites are subject to change in the unlikely event of a hotel or travel company being unable to provide rooms or services as requested. In any such cases players will be provided with the cash equivalent to make their own bookings.
  • Due to the format of MILLIONS UK, players can only win one seat for this event. Refunds and cash alternatives will not be provided for any subsequent seats won.
  • Players can buy in with PP LIVE Dollars.
  • PP LIVE Dollars satellites run daily on partypoker.
  • PP LIVE Dollars will be in your wallet within 24 hours and you will be notified by email.
  • $5.50 satellite tickets expire after three days.
  • $11 satellite tickets expire after three days.
  • $22 satellite tickets expire after three days.
  • $33 satellite tickets expire after three days.
  • $44 satellite tickets expire after seven days.
  • $55 satellite tickets expire after seven days.
  • $109 satellite tickets expire after seven days.
  • $215 satellite tickets expire after fourteen days.
  • $530 satellite tickets expire after fourteen days.
  • $1,050 satellite tickets expire after fourteen days.
  • PP LIVE Dollars can only be spent once they appear on a player’s balance.
  • PP LIVE Dollars have no financial value and are non-transferable. In the event of a player not being able to use his PP LIVE Dollars there will be no cash alternative
  • Players are not able to sell or transfer their PP LIVE Dollars to another player
  • If a player buys in with PP LIVE Dollars and does not want to play the event or does not turn up to the event, they can contact support staff for a full refund into their PP LIVE Dollar wallet. Any promotion will be void and cash expenses must be paid back before a refund is issued.
  • PP LIVE Dollars can be used for expenses including travel and accommodation expenses for your chosen tournament. To claim back expenses from their PP LIVE Dollar wallet, players must visit the PP LIVE desk and provide evidence of expenditure. Expenses will be paid to players’ partypoker account within 24 hours.
  • PP LIVE Dollars buy-ins will be set at XE spot rate and will be reviewed regularly to ensure players receive the best price at the time of buying in. Once a player has bought in any changes to the exchange rate will not affect their purchase. They will not receive a refund or be charged for the difference
  • All PP LIVE Dollars have a 24-month expiry.
  • Players must have a linked partypoker LIVE account to access their PP LIVE dollars.

Play 5 MILLIONS Main Events, Get one Free

  • Every player who plays the five MILLIONS Main Event in all MILLIONS events in 2019 will receive a $10,300 seat and $2,700 for expenses for MILLIONS UK in January 2020.
  • This promotion is open to all players who play five legs of the MILLIONS tour in 2019. This includes MILLIONS South America, MILLIONS North America, MILLIONS Europe, MILLIONS World and MILLIONS Online. Newly announced additions to the tour such as MILLIONS Vegas @ Aria and MILLIONS Asia do not count towards this promotion.
  • Only MILLIONS Main Events count towards this promotion.
  • Players can buy-in using any method including use of a satellite seat, cash and PP LIVE Dollars to be eligible for the promotion.
  • The $10,300 MILLIONS UK will be held at Dusk Till Dawn Casino Nottingham in January 2020 and the details will be confirmed soon.
  • MILLIONS UK seats won in this promotion are non-transferable and have no cash value. If a player cannot make the event there will be no alternative prize for this promotion.
  • Players who win a MILLIONS UK seat via this promotion will not be eligible to win a MILLIONS UK seat via direct satellites either online or live as the event is a Freezeout on each Day 1 and it is unlikely you will require two seats for the event.
  • The $10,300 seat will be held at Dusk Till Dawn Casino Nottingham within 72 hours of the player playing the final leg of the MILLIONS tour providing they have played all of the other main events.
  • If a player buys in and then requests a refund for any MILLIONS main event, they will not receive their $10,300 ticket. All main events must be played to receive the bonus.
  • The promotion is only valid for the MILLIONS 2019 main events.
  • The MILLIONS schedule is subject to change, but the promotion will still be valid.
  • Any player who is seen to abuse the nature of this promotion will be eliminated from the promotion.
  • Management decision is final.

Media and TV

  • partypoker LIVE events are often filmed for future TV and/or live streaming productions, by participating in any partypoker LIVE event you also agree that we can use your name, photo or video footage in any way we see fit, and you grant us global image rights to use this material.
  • When playing on the TV table players agree that we can broadcast their play on a short delay, create highlights videos and full videos of all play on the table for distribution including but not limited to internet distribution or television distribution. Players do not have the right to opt out of this coverage.
  • Players on the TV table are required to position their hole cards in such a way that the table can read the cards to be displayed on the steam / video footage. Players will be directed by the Dealer, and / or Floor Staff or Media Team to do so and do not have the right to opt out of their hole cards being read.
  • Players on the TV table are not permitted to use mobile devices whilst at the table including phones, tablets and laptops, and any such infringement will result in penalties. We cannot however prevent any players from receiving information from friends watching the stream elsewhere.
  • The TV table may feature commentary from various people including but not limited to regular commentators and occasional guests. The opinions of the commentators and guests are their own and are not necessarily the opinions of partypoker LIVE.
  • We do not ban players from wearing patches / logos of any other poker companies, however we simply ask that players on the feature table limit their branding to no more than:
    1. 1 x Chest patch measuring no more than 12cm x 12cm
    2. 1 x Sleeve patch measuring no more than 12cm x 12 cm
    3. 1 x Hat logo measuring no more than 12cm x 12cm
    4. In the event of a player having a hoodie / jacket with a logo larger than 12cm x 12cm on the back, they are not permitted to wear it at the TV Table
  • We do not permit players to wear patches / branding from any thing we consider to be inappropriate, including but not limited to wearing the branding of porn sites, anything which could be considered to incite racial, gender, or religious hatred or be discriminatory.
  • We do not permit players to wear clothing that we consider to be too revealing.
  • Any infringement of these clothing regulations will result in exclusion. Once excluded, players are permitted to change into appropriate clothing and re-join the tournament. Our decision is final in this matter.
  • By playing a partypoker LIVE event, you agree to accept and adhere to these Terms and Conditions, failure to accept or adhere to these Terms and Conditions may result in players being disqualified from the tournament with no refund or financial compensation.

partypoker LIVE General Terms and Conditions

partypoker LIVE is moderated 24/7 and has a zero-tolerance policy on the following matters. Anyone found to be breaching this policy at any partypoker LIVE event or on any associated forums will be banned immediately with no option of appeal. Breaches of this policy may also result in bans from partypoker online software, partypoker LIVE events and partner venues.

  1. Underage: If found to be under 18 or under the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction then you will be banned from partypoker LIVE events and any associated forums.
  2. Religious or National hatred: Any posts or vocalised opinions that are deemed to negatively portray religions or promote national hatred, whether clear, subtle or shared via links through third party sites will result in a permanent ban.
  3. Posting Piracy Information, hacks or viruses that could breach terms of service: Posting links to any illegal material will result in an immediate ban.
  4. Impersonating Employees or the partypoker LIVE/partypoker Brand: Anyone found to be impersonating the brand; the brand ambassadors or staff will result in a permanent ban.
  5. Pornography and illicit material: Posting or distributing directly or third-party links to any material will result in a ban. The naming of such sites and links is also not permitted.
  6. partypoker LIVE reserves the right to disqualify or ban any person from one or all events if the person acts in a threatening and / or abusive manner to other players or to any member of staff or the public, this includes but is not limited to threats / statements made on social media, via telephone, email or face to face.

The partypoker LIVE teams are trained to deal with any incident that may occur. They have the full powers to make judgment calls and take appropriate action if the following Code of Behaviour is breached.

  1. Foul language: Any swearing or offensive language online may be censored and members posting such material may be subject to warning and temporary bans. During LIVE events, foul language is not tolerated and will result in a warning. Excessive use of expletives will result in further action and possible disqualification.
  2. Harassment: We want all users to have the best experience when using the partypoker LIVE forum or at partypoker LIVE events. Any harassment or offensive language directed at other members or staff will be acted upon swiftly.
  3. Advertising: Please only post third party adverts and links in the specified permitted places. Any deemed to be regularly posted in the wrong place will result in action being taken against the poster. When playing live events, please see the terms and conditions for the specific event to find out about the advertising allowances and media policy.
  4. Signatures and avatars: Please ensure all online signatures and avatars, whether text or images, are deemed suitable for use. These are reviewed regularly. If deemed inappropriate a moderator may ask for it to be changed.
  5. Spamming: Please refrain from posting the same message on associated forums multiple times, posting gibberish or continually promoting unsolicited links.
  6. Copyrighted Material: Please ensure you have permission from the relevant parties before posting any third party copyrighted material.
  7. Negatively discussing partypoker LIVE and/or partypoker to the point of ‘shaming’ is not permitted.
  8. Posting Personal Information: We have a strict Privacy Policy, please refrain from posting any public information about any members or staff that is not displayed on their profile for associated forums or that they have not shared with others at ilve events. Likewise, we will moderate and remove any personal information you share about yourself that we deem unnecessary.
  9. Bans: partypoker LIVE reserves the right to remove any user from any forum or live event without warning if they have breached our terms of services.
  10. Bans & Warnings: Under no circumstances is it appropriate to discuss the ban and warning process whether about yourself or others. Failure to adhere to the above guidelines and rules may result in warnings, access restrictions, temporary and permanent bans. 

partypoker LIVE General Terms & Conditions – LIVE Events

  1. Floor people - They are to consider the best interest of the game and fairness as the top priority in the decision-making process. Unusual Circumstances can on occasions dictate that decisions in the interest of fairness take priority over the technical rules. The floor's decision is final.
  2. Official Language - The English-only rule must be adhered to at the table. This includes to outside influences. Should a player wish to talk in a foreign language they must leave the table.
  3. The Chip Race - When it is time to colour up chips, they will be raced off with a maximum 1 chip going to any player. A player cannot be eliminated from a tournament in a chip race. We encourage players to witness the chip race.
  4. Odd Chips - The odd chips will go to the high hand. In flop games when there are two or more high hands or 2 or more low hands, the odd chips will be awarded to the player left of the button during showdown. Each side pot will be split one at a time and before any boards will be completed, thus reducing risk of error.
  5. Calling for a clock - Should a player have had sufficient time, any player at the table can call a clock. The dealer will call the floor and if both the dealer and the floor person agree that it is fair to put the player on the clock, then the player will have 60 seconds plus an additional 10 second countdown to make an action, should the player not act in this time, their hand will be declared dead.
  6. Dead Button - Tournaments and Cash games operate using a dead button meaning that if a player is eliminated in the small blind, the button will not have a player in front of it and the next small blind will still pay their blind.
  7. Penalties and Disqualification - Should a player act against the rules or the order of play, the floor person will penalise the offender with either a warning, a 1 round penalty, a 2-round penalty or even more. Should a player be a repeat offender, they will be subject to more severe penalties and possibly to the grounds of Disqualification. -If a player is on a penalty, they must remain outside of the tournament area until they are told that they can return. Throughout the penalty the play will blind away as normal. A player who is disqualified will have their chips removed from the tournament. All penalties will be dealt with once the hand has reached conclusion.
  8. At your seat - to have a live hand a player must be at their seat when the first card leaves the deck. If they are not at their seat the hand will be deemed dead. Dealers are instructed to muck hands once all hole cards have been distributed. At your seat is defined as in reach of the chair, however the floor will have last say on the matter, and even if within reach of the seat your hand could be deemed dead if there is any risk of the player seeing other player's cards.
  9. All-in Showdown - In an all-in situation, all players that reach showdown must show their hands.
  10. Raise Requirements - If a player puts in a raise of 50% or more of the previous bet/raise, but less than a minimum raise, the player will have to make the raise up to a minimum raise. In no limit and pot limit, a raise all-in that doesn't meet the required minimum raise will not re-open the betting to the previous aggressor.
  11. Oversized Chip - An oversized chip will be considered a call if the player does not announce otherwise. If a player puts an oversized chip into the pot whilst stating only raise, the raise will be for the full value of the chip that entered the pot. Any verbal declarations must occur before the chip lands over the betting line.
  12. No Disclosure No Advice. One player to a hand - Players cannot expose their hand. Although it isn't binding, they can declare a hand whilst in play. Players cannot discuss other player's hands unless the hand is heads up and their own hand is still live. During hands, no players can seek help from any source whether involved or not involved directly in the game. One player to a hand rule is in play, and should there be any outside influence, the hand will be declared dead with the player subject to penalty, with any outside influence also ejected.
  13. Speech Play - This is permitted, during hands only players holding cards can discuss anything related to the game. Multiway speech play is allowed; however, players cannot discuss other players’ hands unless heads-up. Speech play must not contravene the Code of Conduct.
  14. Random Seats - Tournament and Satellite seats will be randomly assigned. We do however have a family and friend’s rule, whereby we try to keep these separate to avoid chances of collusion.
  15. Communication Devices - A player may not use a mobile phone whilst actively involved in a hand. Should a player still be on the phone when the final card is dealt to the button, their hand will be deemed dead. Whilst active in the hand, the player must not touch their phone. Kindles/iPads are allowed at the table, though they are not allowed on the poker table cloth surface. Again, these should not be used whilst a player is active in a hand. Players on the TV table are not permitted to use their mobile devices whilst at the table including phones, tablets and laptops, and any such infringement will reduce in penalties. We cannot however prevent any players from receiving information from friends watching the stream elsewhere.
  16. Deck Changes - Deck changes will be determined by the house.
  17. New Limits - When time has elapsed the blinds will be raised, these will be announced by the Tournament Director. The blinds will go up in the first hand of the new level (with the start of the new hand being the first riffle).
  18. Reloads/Rebuys - Should a player want a Reload/Rebuy, they must make the dealer aware, this way they will be dealt into the following hand with a known stack including the rebuy. Upon request the player is obligated to pay for the reloads/rebuy.
  19. Higher Denomination Chips - These chips must be clearly visible at all times.
  20. Rabbit Hunting - No rabbit hunting (meaning viewing the next card that would be on the board had the player still had an active hand) is allowed.
  21. Breaking tables - All players will receive a table and seat number upon the breaking of a table. All players must go straight to their new seat. Not doing so will be punished with a penalty. On arrival at a new table, players can be sent to fill any position at the table, though they will miss the first hand should they be positioned between the Button and the Small Blind.
  22. Chips - When moving table's chips must remain visible whether in trays or hand. Chips must not be put in pockets or carried by anybody other than the player or a member of staff assigned by the Tournament Director. During Breaks all chips must remain at the table. Failure to abide by these rules could lead to penalty or even disqualification.
  23. Balancing tables - When balancing tables, the player who is the next big blind will be moved to the open position on another table that will pay the big blind first. Play will be paused should a table be 3 players short of the standard at any given time.
  24. Raises - There is no cap on the number of raises in no-limit games. A minimum raise must be the previous raise interval + total of last bet. In Limit events there will be a limit to the number of raises until heads up. Even when heads up the house limit will apply.
  25. Misdeals - In Flop Games the following constitute a misdeal:
    1. One of the first two cards dealt being exposed.
    2. Two cards being exposed in all.
    3. A boxed card appears in the original deal.
    4. A card flying of off the table.
    5. A player not receiving the required number of cards. Players can be dealt two consecutive cards on the button. In stud games if any of the players two down cards are exposed it is instantly a misdeal.
    6. Failure to shuffle or cut the deck - No matter how much action has taken place, if it turns out that either of these have taken place the hand will be void.
  26. Unprotected Hands - If a dealer kills an unprotected hand, the players hand will be dead and they will lose any chips that are invested in the pot. However, should a player have an uncalled raise in the pot, they will lose the previous calling amount.
  27. Card Speak - Dealers cannot kill a winning hand that has been tabled and was clearly the winning hand. Players are encouraged to assist in reading tabled hands and point out any errors about to be made.
  28. Verbal Declarations - These are binding. Verbal action out of turn will be treated like a completed action. Should the action not change your action will stand, should the player change the action (raise) you get all chips back with all options.
  29. Exposing cards - A player who exposes cards with action pending may incur penalty. The players hand will NOT be dead and the hand will play out as normal.
  30. Methods of raising - in no limit and pot limit a raise must be made either:
    1. Verbal declaration
    2. Placing the full amount across the betting line in one motion
    3. Announcing raise, placing the call amount across the line, followed by the additional raise amount.
  31. Ethical play - Poker is an individual Game. Soft play will result in penalties or possibly straight disqualification.
  32. Pot size - Only in pot limit games can players ask the dealer how much is in the pot.
  33. Button in heads-up - The button will always be the small blind when heads-up. A player cannot be the Big Blind both in the final hand of 3 handed and the 1st hand of heads-up.
  34. Etiquette violations - this will result in warnings and escalating penalties when repeat offending. These include:
    1. Leaving out of turn
    2. Touching another player's cards or chips
    3. Delaying the game
    4. Excessive chatter
  35. Order of Showdown - should aggressive action take place on the river, the last aggressor must show his hand first. Should the action be checked around on the river, order of showdown will move around left of the button.
  36. Last Man Standing Rule - The last live hand wins the pot without having to show any cards. Example A heads-up pot, Player A bets the river, Player B calls, A mucks. In this instance, B wins as the last live hand and does not have to give up any information by showing his hand. Had player A shown then mucked Player B would had to show to claim the pot.
  37. Action Pending - Players must remain at the table if they still have action pending on a hand.
  38. String bets/raises - Players must ensure that their bet is either verbally stated or that all chips are moved over the line simultaneously. If a player places a small amount of chips over the betting line and then adds more, only the first, small amount will count as a bet. Dealers will be responsible for calling string bets/raises. Any objections, the floor will have the final say.
  39. Playing the Board - Players must still show both cards if they are playing the board and want to claim part of the pot.

Competition Policies

  1. All multi-table tournaments will have a maximum of 10 players per table.
  2. Deals must be done based on ICM where at least 10% of the remaining prizepool is left for 1st place to play for, this will ensure that fair deals take place. All negotiations must be supervised by the tournament Director who will step in should he think that a deal is unfair.
  3. All competitions must be played to a conclusion. Prizes will then be awarded accordingly.
  4. If two or more players at the same table are eliminated on the same hand, then they will be eliminated based on chip count at the start of the hand. If two or more players are eliminated at the same time on different tables, then the players will split the prize money equally.
  5. The house reserves the right to alter the blind/ante structure.
  6. Unless indicated otherwise on the tournament schedule, partypoker Live tournaments and Live satellites operate a Button Ante policy. This speeds up the game and makes the game smoother. The player in the button posts the Ante for the whole table. The size of the Ante is as follows:
    1. 9-Handed Tournament 7-9 Handed, Button Ante = 1 x Big Blind. 3-6 Handed, Button Ante = 1 x Small Blind.
    2. 8-Handed Tournament 6-8 Handed, Button Ante = 1 x Big Blind. 3-5 Handed, Button Ante = 1 x Small Blind.
    3. 6-Handed Tournament The Button Ante is always the size of the Small Blind.
  7. There is no Ante when play is Heads Up, nor when the Button is dead (after a hand where the Small Blind player has been eliminated)
  8. We advise that all players read the Code of Conduct as a guide to help players know what is and is not acceptable behaviour.
  9. Maximum Cash Pay-out for any tournament is $10,000. Any additional prize money will be paid by Cheque, Bank Transfer, online Account or held on deposit.
  10. Additional Rules may be posted to cover special circumstances.

Competition Procedures

  1. The Button will start in seat one for all tournaments.
  2. When removing smaller denomination chips from play, players will race for any odd chip remaining. Each player in the race will receive one card per odd chip that they have. Each player will receive their card(s) consecutively with the dealer starting with seat 1 and progressing around clockwise. Bridge order will apply where necessary (Spades, hearts, diamond then clubs).
  3. It is the player's responsibility to immediately inform the cardroom personnel if they have returned from a break to an incorrect stack. This is also the case at the start of the tournament.
  4. At the start of all tournaments and during breaks all decks will be spread for all players to see and to verify that all cards are present.
  5. Sufficient Action- either three folds, or two actions with at least one entering chips into the pot. This will be relevant in situations regarding actions out of turn and misdeals. This can also apply regarding missed action and exposed cards for further streets, if the floor feel that the player had plenty of time to make the dealer aware of the situation, his action could be void, therefore if facing a bet their hand would be dead, if facing no aggressive action, the player would have to check. This would mainly apply to early exposed flops.
  6. If a dealer exposes a card on the initial deal, it will be replaced by the first burn card. The exposed card will be highlighted to all.
  7. If a player has not been given a chance to make action but the community cards get exposed, the following will happen: - Pre-flop action- the dealer will keep any cards that are face up there and complete the board face down, any exposed cards will be reshuffled and be dealt out once action has been completed. - Flop action- the dealer will burn and place the actual river card face down, then once the required action has been completed the dealer will reshuffle the exposed card into the deck and provide the new turn card. - Turn action- with only the river card remaining, action will be completed, and the exposed river will be reshuffled into the deck and a new river card will be dealt out.
  8. In addition to overnight redraws in multi-day events, a redraw will also take place when the tournament reaches the last two tables, and the final table.
  9. In multi-day events, when the final level of the day has 15 minutes remaining the tournament clock will be paused, and a draw will be done to determine the number of hands left to play (which will be randomly chosen between 3, 4, 5 or 6).
  10. Limited reload Tournaments (if available) - All players will be issued with the appropriate number of reload chips. If they have not been used by the end of the reload period they will be removed. Reloads can be used no matter how big a player's stack is.
  11. Unlimited Rebuy Tournaments (if available)- During the rebuy period, all players are eligible for a single or double rebuy so long as they have starting stack or less. Should a player have a stack size between start stack and double the start stack, they are eligible for a single rebuy. At the end of the rebuy period, all players no matter what their stack will be eligible for a rebuy and an Add-on.

Registration and Cancellation Policy

  1. All participants in partypoker LIVE events must sign the media policy by logging into their partypoker LIVE account (top right of this page) and accepting the media policy. All new accounts will automatically be asked to agree to the media policy. This only needs to be done once and will remain valid for all future partypoker LIVE events.
  2. partypoker LIVE staff reserve the right to set limits and restrictions on pay-out methods from tournaments and are obligated to inform the player accordingly.
  3. All tournaments and live satellites need a minimum of 10 players registered to start. Where the Guarantee on a live satellite is greater than 8 seats, the minimum number of players required to start is "Guaranteed Seats + 2", e.g. If a live satellite guarantees 10 seats, it will require 12 players to start.
  4. Entry to the tournament must be made in the partypoker lobby or via the cash desk at the event, certain tournaments are restricted to players who enter via the partypoker lobby, specific terms are available on the event page for the tournament.
  5. All tournaments will be subject to a registration fee.
  6. Alternates will be allowed. As players drop out of the competition they will be offered the seat.
  7. Late Registration will be allowed into the tournament for the levels advertised.
  8. Late registrants and alternates will be allocated the full starting stack with NO deductions for blinds missed.
  9. Provided a player registers before the end of the late registration period, s/he will be able to play in the tournament. In this case, players will be allowed to withdraw if they feel their stack is not enough Big Blinds for the level they are eventually entered in. This decision must be made BEFORE sitting down at the table.
  10. If there are no spare seats at currently open tables, then new tables will be opened to accommodate late players, up to the allowable cap. This is done at the Supervisor's discretion.
  11. During Re-Entry tournaments players that get knocked out and re-enter will not be penalised with a chip penalty.
  12. partypoker LIVE tournaments follow a variety of entry rules during the late registration period of each Day.
    1. Freezeout: (FO) If eliminated you cannot play that Day again, you may play a different Day.
    2. Re-Entry: (RE) If eliminated you may play again as many times as you wish.
    3. Single Re-Entry: (1RE) If eliminated from your first entry you can play again once.
    4. Starting a Day with chips carried over from a previous Day does not count as an entry.
  13. All our results will be published on websites. All events may be filmed for future TV and/or live streaming productions, by participating in any partypoker Live event you also agree that we can use your name, photo or video footage in any way we see fit.
  14. Once payment has been received, that player is deemed to be in the competition.
  15. If a registered player is going to be late, or not available to play, and would like to be removed from the competition, they must notify the club before the start of the clock to receive a full refund.
  16. Players who have not notified the organisers that they wish to be removed from the competition prior to the start of the clock, will be included. These players will receive cards and post blinds accordingly. They will not be entitled to a refund.
  17. Seats won in live satellites are subject to the local rules published in the venue with regard to seat transfers.

Other

  1. Any player who is banned from playing at the venue, even if not banned at other partypoker LIVE events will still not be able to play. It is the players responsibility to know whether they are able to play at individual venues.
  2. In quarter-final/semi-final satellites, held on partypoker, where you carry your stack through to the next round, only your largest stack will qualify, and any other stack will be automatically forfeited.
  3. Any packages won in online or live satellites are subject to change in the unlikely event of a hotel or travel company being unable to provide rooms or services as requested. We will always make best endeavours to find alternative accommodation or travel at the same or higher standard. If we are unable to find such alternatives, players will be provided with the cash equivalent to make their own bookings.
  4. All schedule dates, events, payouts and structures are subject to change at any time at our complete discretion.
  5. Management decision is final.

partypoker LIVE General Terms & Conditions – LIVE Events

Players will not be allowed to cover any part of their body from the neck up. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing scarves, funnel neck sweatshirts, turtle neck jumpers, sunglasses, hats/caps. The only exception will be made for sunglasses to be used at the TV tables due to lighting and hats that do not cover/hide any part of the face at any time. Hoodies are not recommended to follow the rules above.

  1. Floor people - They are to consider the best interest of the game and fairness as the top priority in the decision-making process. Unusual Circumstances can on occasions dictate that decisions in the interest of fairness take priority over the technical rules. The floor's decision is final.
  2. Official Language - The English-only rule must be adhered to at the table. This includes to outside influences. Should a player wish to talk in a foreign language they must leave the table.
  3. The Chip Race - When it is time to colour up chips, they will be raced off with a maximum 1 chip going to any player. A player cannot be eliminated from a tournament in a chip race. We encourage players to witness the chip race.
  4. Odd Chips - The odd chips will go to the high hand. In flop games when there are two or more high hands or 2 or more low hands, the odd chips will be awarded to the player left of the button during showdown. Each side pot will be split one at a time and before any boards will be completed, thus reducing risk of error.
  5. Calling for a clock - Should a player have had sufficient time, any player at the table can call a clock. The dealer will call the floor and if both the dealer and the floor person agree that it is fair to put the player on the clock, then the player will have 60 seconds plus an additional 10 second countdown to make an action, should the player not act in this time, their hand will be declared dead.
  6. Shot Clock Rules:
    • In order to help improve player experience and speed up the game, a Shot Clock may be introduced depending on the tournament or, at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
    • Shot Clock rules may vary by venue and event.

    Players:

    • When the Shot Clock is introduced each player will receive, (x) time extension cards [TIME].
    • Each player will have a predetermined period to complete each action.

    If action is not completed during the allotted time and the player has a TIME card remaining time will be extended, and a card will be taken from the player.

    • If the player has no TIME cards remaining when their available time is over and have still not acted, they will be forced to CHECK [if possible] or FOLD.
    • The Shot Clock will only be paused during Rulings or during the count of an All-In bet.
    • The number of TIME cards, the length of time and when/if they are increased or refreshed at later stages will vary and be defined in the tournament information or by the Tournament Director.

    Tournament Staff:

    Dealers:

    • Will monitor the time available using the ‘Shot Clock’ system used at the venue.
    • Will keep the system visible to all players.
    • Will announce when 5 seconds remain and count down to 0.
    • When time has reached 0 if the player has a TIME card remaining they will extend the time, and take a TIME card.
    • If no TIME cards remain the dealer will declare CHECK or FOLD based on the action.

                 Other Rules:                                                        

    • If it is unsure if time reached zero or the player acted first, then the benefit of the doubt will go to the player.
    • Players that attempt to abuse any of the above rules to gain an unfair advantage may receive penalties to be decided by the Tournament Director.

    The Tournament Director will handle any disputes and make the final decision.

  2. Dead Button - Tournaments and Cash games operate using a dead button meaning that if a player is eliminated in the small blind, the button will not have a player in front of it and the next small blind will still pay their blind.
  3. Penalties and Disqualification - Should a player act against the rules or the order of play, the floor person will penalise the offender with either a warning, a 1 round penalty, a 2-round penalty or even more. Should a player be a repeat offender, they will be subject to more severe penalties and possibly to the grounds of Disqualification. -If a player is on a penalty, they must remain outside of the tournament area until they are told that they can return. Throughout the penalty the play will blind away as normal. A player who is disqualified will have their chips removed from the tournament. All penalties will be dealt with once the hand has reached conclusion.
  4. At your seat - to have a live hand a player must be at their seat when the first card leaves the deck. If they are not at their seat the hand will be deemed dead. Dealers are instructed to muck hands once all hole cards have been distributed. At your seat is defined as in reach of the chair, however the floor will have last say on the matter, and even if within reach of the seat your hand could be deemed dead if there is any risk of the player seeing other player's cards.
  5. All-in Showdown - In an all-in situation, all players that reach showdown must show their hands.
  6. Raise Requirements - If a player puts in a raise of 50% or more of the previous bet/raise, but less than a minimum raise, the player will have to make the raise up to a minimum raise. In no limit and pot limit, a raise all-in that doesn't meet the required minimum raise will not re-open the betting to the previous aggressor.
  7. Oversized Chip - An oversized chip will be considered a call if the player does not announce otherwise. If a player puts an oversized chip into the pot whilst stating only raise, the raise will be for the full value of the chip that entered the pot. Any verbal declarations must occur before the chip lands over the betting line.
  8. No Disclosure No Advice. One player to a hand - Players cannot expose their hand. Although it isn't binding, they can declare a hand whilst in play. Players cannot discuss other player's hands unless the hand is heads up and their own hand is still live. During hands, no players can seek help from any source whether involved or not involved directly in the game. One player to a hand rule is in play, and should there be any outside influence, the hand will be declared dead with the player subject to penalty, with any outside influence also ejected.
  9. Speech Play - This is permitted, during hands only players holding cards can discuss anything related to the game. Multiway speech play is allowed; however, players cannot discuss other players’ hands unless heads-up. Speech play must not contravene the Code of Conduct.
  10. Random Seats - Tournament and Satellite seats will be randomly assigned. We do however have a family and friend’s rule, whereby we try to keep these separate to avoid chances of collusion.
  11. Communication Devices - A player may not use a mobile phone whilst actively involved in a hand. Should a player still be on the phone when the final card is dealt to the button, their hand will be deemed dead. Whilst active in the hand, the player must not touch their phone. Kindles/iPads are allowed at the table, though they are not allowed on the poker table cloth surface. Again, these should not be used whilst a player is active in a hand. Players on the TV table are not permitted to use their mobile devices whilst at the table including phones, tablets and laptops, and any such infringement will reduce in penalties. We cannot however prevent any players from receiving information from friends watching the stream elsewhere.
  12. Deck Changes - Deck changes will be determined by the house.
  13. New Limits - When time has elapsed the blinds will be raised, these will be announced by the Tournament Director. The blinds will go up in the first hand of the new level (with the start of the new hand being the first riffle).
  14. Reloads/Rebuys - Should a player want a Reload/Rebuy, they must make the dealer aware, this way they will be dealt into the following hand with a known stack including the rebuy. Upon request the player is obligated to pay for the reloads/rebuy.
  15. Higher Denomination Chips - These chips must be clearly visible at all times.
  16. Rabbit Hunting - No rabbit hunting (meaning viewing the next card that would be on the board had the player still had an active hand) is allowed.
  17. Breaking tables - All players will receive a table and seat number upon the breaking of a table. All players must go straight to their new seat. Not doing so will be punished with a penalty. On arrival at a new table, players can be sent to fill any position at the table, though they will miss the first hand should they be positioned between the Button and the Small Blind.
  18. Chips - When moving table's chips must remain visible whether in trays or hand. Chips must not be put in pockets or carried by anybody other than the player or a member of staff assigned by the Tournament Director. During Breaks all chips must remain at the table. Failure to abide by these rules could lead to penalty or even disqualification.
  19. Balancing tables - When balancing tables, the player who is the next big blind will be moved to the open position on another table that will pay the big blind first. Play will be paused should a table be 3 players short of the standard at any given time.
  20. Raises - There is no cap on the number of raises in no-limit games. A minimum raise must be the previous raise interval + total of last bet. In Limit events there will be a limit to the number of raises until heads up. Even when heads up the house limit will apply.
  21. Misdeals - In Flop Games the following constitute a misdeal:
    1. One of the first two cards dealt being exposed.
    2. Two cards being exposed in all.
    3. A boxed card appears in the original deal.
    4. A card flying of off the table.
    5. A player not receiving the required number of cards. Players can be dealt two consecutive cards on the button. In stud games if any of the players two down cards are exposed it is instantly a misdeal.
    6. Failure to shuffle or cut the deck - No matter how much action has taken place, if it turns out that either of these have taken place the hand will be void.
  22. Unprotected Hands - If a dealer kills an unprotected hand, the players hand will be dead and they will lose any chips that are invested in the pot. However, should a player have an uncalled raise in the pot, they will lose the previous calling amount.
  23. Card Speak - Dealers cannot kill a winning hand that has been tabled and was clearly the winning hand. Players are encouraged to assist in reading tabled hands and point out any errors about to be made.
  24. Verbal Declarations - These are binding. Verbal action out of turn will be treated like a completed action. Should the action not change your action will stand, should the player change the action (raise) you get all chips back with all options.
  25. Exposing cards - A player who exposes cards with action pending may incur penalty. The players hand will NOT be dead and the hand will play out as normal.
  26. Methods of raising - in no limit and pot limit a raise must be made either:
    1. Verbal declaration
    2. Placing the full amount across the betting line in one motion
    3. Announcing raise, placing the call amount across the line, followed by the additional raise amount.
  27. Ethical play - Poker is an individual Game. Soft play will result in penalties or possibly straight disqualification.
  28. Pot size - Only in pot limit games can players ask the dealer how much is in the pot.
  29. Button in heads-up - The button will always be the small blind when heads-up. A player cannot be the Big Blind both in the final hand of 3 handed and the 1st hand of heads-up.
  30. Etiquette violations - this will result in warnings and escalating penalties when repeat offending. These include:
    1. Leaving out of turn
    2. Touching another player's cards or chips
    3. Delaying the game
    4. Excessive chatter
  31. Order of Showdown - should aggressive action take place on the river, the last aggressor must show his hand first. Should the action be checked around on the river, order of showdown will move around left of the button.
  32. Last Man Standing Rule - The last live hand wins the pot without having to show any cards. Example A heads-up pot, Player A bets the river, Player B calls, A mucks. In this instance, B wins as the last live hand and does not have to give up any information by showing his hand. Had player A shown then mucked Player B would had to show to claim the pot.
  33. Action Pending - Players must remain at the table if they still have action pending on a hand.
  34. String bets/raises - Players must ensure that their bet is either verbally stated or that all chips are moved over the line simultaneously. If a player places a small amount of chips over the betting line and then adds more, only the first, small amount will count as a bet. Dealers will be responsible for calling string bets/raises. Any objections, the floor will have the final say.
  35. Playing the Board - Players must still show both cards if they are playing the board and want to claim part of the pot.

Competition Policies

  1. All multi-table tournaments will have a maximum of 10 players per table.
  2. Deals must be done based on ICM where at least 10% of the remaining prizepool is left for 1st place to play for, this will ensure that fair deals take place. All negotiations must be supervised by the tournament Director who will step in should he think that a deal is unfair.
  3. All competitions must be played to a conclusion. Prizes will then be awarded accordingly.
  4. If two or more players at the same table are eliminated on the same hand, then they will be eliminated based on chip count at the start of the hand. If two or more players are eliminated at the same time on different tables, then the players will split the prize money equally.
  5. The house reserves the right to alter the blind/ante structure.
  6. Unless indicated otherwise on the tournament schedule, partypoker Live tournaments and Live satellites operate a Button Ante policy. This speeds up the game and makes the game smoother. The player in the button posts the Ante for the whole table. The size of the Ante is as follows:
    1. 9-Handed Tournament 7-9 Handed, Button Ante = 1 x Big Blind. 3-6 Handed, Button Ante = 1 x Small Blind.
    2. 8-Handed Tournament 6-8 Handed, Button Ante = 1 x Big Blind. 3-5 Handed, Button Ante = 1 x Small Blind.
    3. 6-Handed Tournament The Button Ante is always the size of the Small Blind.
  7. There is no Ante when play is Heads Up, nor when the Button is dead (after a hand where the Small Blind player has been eliminated)
  8. We advise that all players read the Code of Conduct as a guide to help players know what is and is not acceptable behaviour.
  9. Maximum Cash Pay-out for any tournament is $10,000. Any additional prize money will be paid by Cheque, Bank Transfer, online Account or held on deposit.

  15. If a registered player is going to be late, or not available to play, and would like to be removed from the competition, they must notify the club before the start of the clock to receive a full refund.
  16. Players who have not notified the organisers that they wish to be removed from the competition prior to the start of the clock, will be included. These players will receive cards and post blinds accordingly. They will not be entitled to a refund.
  17. Seats won in live satellites are subject to the local rules published in the venue with regard to seat transfers.

In the event of a software failure on partypoker:

PP LIVE Dollars Feeder Satellites:

  • Players remaining at the time of cancellation will be reimbursed as per the partypoker cancellation policy available here.

PPL$ Sunday Finals

  • All players remaining at the time of cancellation who bought in with cash or a feeder ticket and had less than starting stack at the time of cancellation will have the value of their chips at the time of cancellation in PP LIVE Dollars.
  • All players remaining at the time of cancellation who bought in with cash or a feeder ticket and had more than starting stack at the time of cancellation will receive a full refund for their entry in the payment method they used which will be either cash or a ticket with 30-day expiry to play a future PP LIVE Dollars satellite of the same buy in. The additional chip equity they gained in the satellite will be paid in PP LIVE Dollars based on the value of their chips e.g. If a player has 1M chips in a $1,050 satellite (where the starting stack is 500K) they will receive a $1,050 refund (cash or ticket) and $1,000 PPL$ for the additional 500K chips they earned while the satellite was running.
  • All players remaining at the time of cancellation who phased into the satellite final from a semi-final will receive their chip equity at the time of cancellation in PP LIVE Dollars.  E.g. If a player has 250K chips in a $1,050 satellite (where the starting stack is 500K) they will receive $500 PP LIVE Dollars for the 250K chips they earned throughout their satellite journey.
  • If the satellite has reached the end of Late Registration the chip equity will be based on the guarantee.
  • If the tournament has not reached the end of Late Registration the chip equity will be based on the total collected.

Direct Satellites:

  • All players remaining at the time of cancellation who bought in with cash or a feeder ticket and had less than starting stack at the time of cancellation will be given the cash value of their chips at the time of cancellation.
  • All players remaining at the time of cancellation who bought in with cash or a feeder ticket and had more than starting stack at the time of cancellation will receive a full refund for their entry in the payment method they used which will be either cash or a ticket for a replacement satellite which will be held within a week of the scheduled satellite. This date will be confirmed within 24 hours of the cancellation of the original cancelled satellite.
  • If there is no time to run a replacement satellite, players with more than starting stack will receive a refund for their buy in plus the additional chip equity they gained in the. This will be paid in cash based on the value of their chips. Player with less than starting stack will be given the cash value of their chips at the time of cancellation.

Online Day 1s / Online Day 1+2s

  • All players remaining at the time of cancellation who bought in with cash or a satellite ticket and had less than starting stack at the time of cancellation will be given the cash value of their chips at the time of cancellation.
  • All players remaining at the time of cancellation who bought in with cash or a feeder ticket and had more than starting stack at the time of cancellation will receive a full refund for their entry in the payment method they used which will be either cash or a ticket for the replacement Online Day 1 which will be held within a week of the scheduled Online Day 1. This date will be confirmed within 24 hours of the cancellation of the original Online Day 1.
  • If there is no time to run a replacement Online Day 1 players will be able to use their tickets for the live Day 1s. The additional chip equity they gained in the Online Day 1 / Online Day 1+2 will be paid in cash based on the value of their chips. E.g. If a player has 100K chips in a $1,100 Online Day 1 (where the starting stack is 50K) they will receive a $1,100 refund (cash or ticket) and $1,000 cash for the additional 50K chips they earned while the satellite was running.

Other

  1. Any player who is banned from playing at the venue, even if not banned at other partypoker LIVE events will still not be able to play. It is the players responsibility to know whether they are able to play at individual venues.
  2. In quarter-final/semi-final satellites, held on partypoker, where you carry your stack through to the next round, only your largest stack will qualify, and any other stack will be automatically forfeited.
  3. Any packages won in online or live satellites are subject to change in the unlikely event of a hotel or travel company being unable to provide rooms or services as requested. We will always make best endeavours to find alternative accommodation or travel at the same or higher standard. If we are unable to find such alternatives, players will be provided with the cash equivalent to make their own bookings.
  4. All schedule dates, events, payouts and structures are subject to change at any time at our complete discretion.
  5. Management decision is final.
  6. Errors and omissions excepted
