Yes you can use PP LIVE Dollars to buy in to this event and all side events on the schedule.
How can I win PP LIVE Dollars?
Players can win PP LIVE Dollars every day on partypoker, they will be in your wallet within 24 hours and you’ll be notified by email.
Can I sell or transfer my PP LIVE Dollars to another player?
Players are not able to sell or transfer their PP LIVE Dollars to another player.
If I buy into an event with PP LIVE Dollars and decide not to play the event, will my buy-in be refunded?
If a player buys in with PP LIVE Dollars and does not want to play the event or does not turn up to the event, they can contact support staff for a full refund into their PP LIVE Dollar wallet. Any promotion will be void and cash expenses must be paid back before a refund is issued.
What can I use PP LIVE Dollars for?
PP LIVE Dollars can be used for tournament entry and expenses including travel and accommodation expenses. To claim back expenses from their PP LIVE Dollar wallet, players must visit the PP LIVE desk at the event and provide evidence of expenditure.
How do I buy in to this event using PP LIVE Dollars?
Visit the schedule page and on the left side of the page there is an option to buy in to all events.
Is there a specific PP LIVE Dollars promotion for this event?
The first 100 players to buy into MILLIONS South America using PP LIVE Dollars will receive USD $1,000 cash expenses into their partypoker account. If a refund is requested the USD $1,000 must be paid back before the refund is processed.
If I’m eliminated from a Day 1 can I enter another Day 1 on the following day?
Yes, if you are eliminated from Day 1A you can enter Day 1B.
Can I re-enter a Day 1 on the same day if I’m eliminated?
No, each Day 1 is a freezeout. If you have played Day 1A, you can re-enter on Day 1B.
Are there any specific satellites for this event?
There are specific satellites for this event packages include a $10,300 ticket plus $1700 cash for expenses.
What happens if I win a specific satellite and I cannot play the event?
Players who win a seat before Day 1A in a live or online satellite must be available to play Day 1A. There are no refunds or cash alternatives available if a player is unable to play the event. If you cannot attend the event the seat will be forfeited. If you win a seat after Day 1A you may use this seat for Day 1B.
Can I win more than one seat in a satellite?
As MILLIONS South America is a freezeout on each Day 1, unless you are eliminated on Day 1A, you are unable to enter satellites more than once. You must therefore ensure that you do not play any more satellites for this event. This includes satellites at the live venue. If you do win multiple satellites, you’ll be required to forfeit your subsequent seats.
What exchange rate will I receive if I buy in with a different currency?
Buy-in exchange rates are set per tournament, on the first starting day of the tournament for multi-day tournaments. Players who buy in via the partypoker software will receive the exchange rate given by the software on that day. The holding tanks will be set in the local currency if this currency is available on the software. Players who have their partypoker account set in the same currency will not be affected by exchange rates. This does not include cash buy-ins at the venue. Cash exchange rates are set by the venue and are not under the control of partypoker LIVE.
What exchange rate will I receive if my payout is made with a different currency?
Payouts made into partypoker accounts will be paid at the exchange rate of the site on that day. Players who have their partypoker account set in the same currency will not be affected by exchange rates.
How many chips will I receive for buying into Day 1 directly?
Players who buy into Day 1 for will receive 1,000,000 chips.
Can I buy into Day 2 directly?
No as late registration closes at the end of level four on day one.
How long does MILLIONS South America Day 1 last?
Day one will consist of eight, sixty minute levels and three breaks. All surviving players move to day 2.
Will the overall winner receive a trophy?
Yes, the winner will receive an official trophy.
Are deals permitted?
Final Table deals are permitted at the tournament director’s discretion. 10% must be left for the winner.
How is the prize pool paid out?
If you buy in Online, you will receive your payout online. If you buy in with cash at the venue, you will have the option to be paid out in cash at the venue or online. Partypoker LIVE management reserve the right to set limits and restrictions on payout methods from tournaments and are obligated to inform the player accordingly.

If I have already qualified for MILLIONS South America Main Event and win a ticket by finishing in the top 15 in the Rio Open what are my options?
If you are eliminated from Day 1A you must use your ticket to play Day 1B or it will be entered into the prize pool. If you make Day 2 the ticket will be converted into partypoker LIVE dollars.
